...because sometimes words aren't needed.

First real experiment with lighting in XNA. Poses took a while, mainly because I'm not used to close-quarters posing yet. Yes, this is for all the K/L lovers out there. ^^

Mmmmh... I love it!
Have you tried pulling the shadow depth slider to the right? That really can help create deeper atmospheres. It's a shame XNALara doesn't support cast shadows (yet? :please:) though

I'll be sure to try that when I next revisit this scene. It was my first time playing with lighting, and I liked the dim-but-moonlit kind of scene that the lighting parameters gave me for this one, but I'll definitely try the lighting again. :D Thanks for the tip!

Sure!! :D Don't be shy to experiment, even with gaudy colours (just make sure to be careful with the intensity of those). They can give the most amazing effects!

Mhmm, I agree, they do make the most amazing effects, especially bright jewel-toned & ombre colors, but any color will do. :D Still playing with lighting in XNA though, since I don't have access to Photoshop... :(

I see... hey, what about Gimp as an alternative image processing editor? I haven't tried it myself but people say it's a good one (and free as far as I know)
